Before each use, check your Easybreath, especially your child's:
- Take the snorkel in your hand and move it from left to right. The ball must follow the movement without constraint
- Check the presence, condition and correct position of the seal
- Check that all valves are present, that they are not deformed and that they are well pressed against their support
- Check the overall assembly of the mask and that there are no defects in the assembly of the skirt on the frame and the glass
- Never use the mask without the snorkel.
What should I do if I fog up?
If your eyes fog up, please repeat the 4 steps described above, reposition your Easybreath mask correctly and check that the Easybreath is the right size for your face. If the problem persists, do not use the mask and contact your nearest Decathlon store.
Snorkeling safety
Snorkeling is a simple, fun activity for the whole family! Breathing through a snorkel is more demanding than simply swimming. If you feel tired, short of air or dizzy, remove your mask and get out of the water.
Do not use this product if you have cardiovascular or respiratory problems (lung infection, angina, asthma, hypertension, heart disease, etc.). Consult your doctor if you have any doubts.
What Easybreath products are available from Decathlon?
Easybreath: the mask that allows nose-to-mouth breathing, offering a wide field of vision and an anti-fog system thanks to air circulation. Available for adults and children.
Easybreath + (540): an acoustic valve that allows you to speak more audibly at the surface, head above water (without having to remove the mask!)
Easybreath 900: a flexible nose that compensates for the ears and allows you to descend to depths of up to 3m. Don't stay on the surface, go down!
What is the Easybreath adult immersion mask - 900?
The Decathlon Easybreath 900 mask has the same features as the Easybreath 500 (anti-fog, panoramic vision field, easy donning, dry-top snorkel) with the big difference that this new snorkeling mask features a new innovation: the "nose-access". The flexible nose section allows you to balance your ears and descend without the risk of hurting your eardrums.
All the power of the Easybreath concept with the possibility of descending!
Why a soft nose on an Easybreath mask?
Despite the reduced volume, during descents or short apneas (up to 3 meters underwater), the surrounding pressure will increase. This causes discomfort in the ears. To compensate for this, the easiest thing to do is pinch your nose and blow gently to send air into your ears.
Pressure can also cause the mask to pinch. To relieve any discomfort, blowing through the nose or mouth is the easiest way to reposition the mask.
How does Easybreath work?
Fresh air is projected onto the glass before reaching the nose or mouth via the nasal valves. This constant flow of fresh air reduces the risk of fogging.
Air laden with moisture and CO² is evacuated through channels in the mask's frame, which carry the air into the snorkel. The air is constantly renewed. Incoming and outgoing air flows are separated, avoiding the re-mixing of polluted air and allowing you to breathe only fresh air.

How does the dry-top system work?
The mask uses Dry Top technology. This system has been developed to prevent water from entering the snorkel when there are choppy waters, ripples on the surface, when submerged or when the user leans his or her head too far forward to observe the bottom. The snorkel is equipped with a float that rises to close the opening when the snorkel is submerged. When this happens, remember to take the snorkel out of the water and blow into the mask to ensure that the buoy descends properly.
Why isn't the Easybreath mask suitable for diving?
The choice of the Decathlon (Easybreath) snorkeling mask will be made in cases where the user is primarily looking for very high breathing comfort and a large field of view from vision .
Thanks to its design, the Easybreath Decathlon mask is ideal for people who observe mainly from the surface and want to make a few short apneas at shallow depths.
What size Easybreath 900 should I choose?
The Easybreath Adult - 900 mask is available in 2 sizes, covering 90% of adult faces.
From age 12 upwards and for small faces, opt for size S/M, and for larger faces: size M/L.
To choose the right size in the store, fit the mask tightly over your face: there should be no gap between your chin and the bottom of the mask.
Can I wear easybreath 900 if I have a beard?
Beard hair prevents good contact between facial skin and the mask skirt. The watertightness of this full-face mask cannot therefore be guaranteed for beard wearers. The best way to guarantee impermeability is to shave. Failing that, the use of a thick ointment such as Vaseline may also be a solution.
Can I wear glasses with my Easybreath mask?
Most spectacle frames will prevent the mask from sealing properly by deforming the mask skirt. This makes it difficult to use Easybreath with prescription glasses.
What precautions should I take with my Easybreath 900?
Watch out for sand! Avoid bringing your Easybreath 900 full-face mask into contact with sand, which will scratch the mask glass. If sand is present, don't force the snorkel into place. Rinse the snorkel and mask before clipping them together. Sand can also block the float inside the snorkel. Rinse the snorkel vigorously or use a wrench through the snorkel's rear vents to unblock the float, then rinse the snorkel.
