Before each use, check your Easybreath, especially your child's:
- Take the snorkel in your hand and move it from left to right. The ball must follow the movement without constraint
- Check the presence, condition and correct position of the seal
- Check that all valves are present, that they are not deformed and that they are well pressed against their support
- Check the overall assembly of the mask and that there are no defects in the assembly of the skirt on the frame and the glass
- Never use the mask without the snorkel.
What should I do if I fog up?
If your eyes fog up, please repeat the 4 steps described above, reposition your Easybreath mask correctly and check that the Easybreath is the right size for your face. If the problem persists, do not use the mask and contact your nearest Decathlon store.
Snorkeling safety
Snorkeling is a simple, fun activity for the whole family! Breathing through a snorkel is more demanding than simply swimming. If you feel tired, short of air or dizzy, remove your mask and get out of the water.
Do not use this product if you have cardiovascular or respiratory problems (lung infection, angina, asthma, hypertension, heart disease, etc.). Consult your doctor if you have any doubts.
What is Easybreath?
vision The Easybreath Junior mask is a full-face snorkeling mask invented by Decathlon.
With its 180° panoramic view, anti-fog system and ease of donning, the Easybreath Subea mask is the ideal product for children aged 6 to 10 who want to explore the ocean floor.
It features our latest innovation, the "dry-top-release", which means you'll never have to stop breathing when going over a wave or when coming up out of the water.
How does Easybreath work?
The fresh air inspired is projected onto the glass before reaching the nose or mouth via the nasal valves. This constant flow of fresh air reduces the risk of the mask fogging up.
Air loaded with humidity and CO² is evacuated by channels located inside the mask frame, which lead this air into the snorkel. The air is constantly renewed. Incoming and outgoing air flows are separated, preventing the re-mixing of polluted air and allowing you to breathe only fresh air.
Can I dive with my Easybreath Junior?
The Decathlon Junior snorkeling mask is not suitable for diving. The volume of air contained in this snorkeling mask is greater than that contained in a traditional diving mask. From a depth of 1m, the pressure of the mask on the face is noticeable. What's more, when you're apnea diving, you need to decompress. With the Easybreath Subea mask, this is impossible, as the nose is inaccessible.
Why choose an Easybreath rather than a traditional snorkel mask?
Thanks to its design, the Easybreath Decathlon mask is ideal for children who mainly observe the aquatic world from the surface.
The choice of this full-face snorkeling mask will be made when the child is mainly looking for high breathing comfort and a large field of view vision .
How does the dry-top system work?
The mask uses Dry-top technology. This system has been developed to prevent water from entering the snorkel when there are choppy waters, ripples on the surface, when submerged or when the user leans his or her head too far forward to observe the bottom. The snorkel is equipped with a float that rises to close the opening when the snorkel passes under the surface of the water. When this happens, remember to blow on taking the snorkel out of the water to ensure that the float descends properly.
Which Easybreath size to choose?
The Easybreath Junior full-face mask is suitable for children aged between 6 and 10, and comes in one size: XS.
The full-face mask is also available for people over 10, in 2 sizes to cover 90% of faces.
From age 10 and up, small faces opt for size S/M, large faces size M/L.
If my Easybreath mask breaks, can it be repaired?

What precautions should I take with my Easybreath?
Beware of sand! Avoid bringing the Easybreath surface mask Child XS (6-10 years) into contact with sand, which will scratch the mask glass. If sand is present, do not force the snorkel to clip. Rinse the snorkel and mask before clipping them together. Sand can also block the float inside the snorkel. Rinse the snorkel vigorously or use a wrench through the snorkel's rear vents to unblock the float, then rinse the snorkel.
