Snorkeling safety
Snorkeling is a simple, fun activity for the whole family! Breathing through a snorkel is more demanding than simply swimming. If you feel tired, short of air or dizzy, remove your mask and snorkel and get out of the water.
Use of this product is not recommended if you have cardiovascular problems (lung infection, angina, asthma, hypertension, heart disease, etc.). If in doubt, consult your doctor.
Tailor
For children aged 6 to 10, we recommend size S. From age 10 upwards, size M is recommended for slim faces, and size L for wide faces.
How to choose the right mask size
Place your mask on your face without the strap and press down with your hands to press the mask against your face, blocking your breathing.
If the mask "sucks" well and sticks to your face, it's perfect, it's your size and will be watertight in the water
If, on the contrary, it unhooks and falls off, air is passing through and water will seep in.
Avoid mask fogging
New mask: Wash your mask with washing-up liquid and lukewarm water, using your fingers to degrease it thoroughly. Do not use a sponge.
Before each use, spit saliva into your mask and rub the glass with your fingers, then rinse the mask.
Moisten your face with water to limit temperature differences between your skin and the mask glass, which will limit fogging.
Use an anti-fog spray to completely eliminate fogging.
Silicone
Silicone is an extremely flexible material. A silicone skirt adapts smoothly to the contours of the face, ensuring a watertight seal.
Tempered glass window (M&L size), polycarbonate plastic window (S size)
Tempered glass is more resistant than traditional glass. It is more resistant to scratches than plastic glass. However, in the event of severe or repeated impact, it can break into small pieces, thus avoiding major accidents.
Do not jump or dive with your mask on your face or even in your hand.
Do not leave your mask in the sun or even in the heat of your car just before use.
For children's safety, size S is made of plastic.
