Silicone skirt
The mask's skirt (the flexible part of the mask in contact with the face) is made of silicone, an extremely flexible material.
It has been completely redeveloped for this 2021 version in response to your feedback, to suit even more divers
The thicknesses of the SCD 500 mask have been optimized to guarantee an optimum seal with the thinnest possible skirt and avoid discomfort and points of contact on the face!
Colorama and cutting
The SCD 500 mask is available in four versions.
The opaque (black) skirts limit light reflections. Crystal skirts, on the other hand, open up the diver's field of vision at vision .
The use of fluorescent yellow on one of the designs increases the diver's visibility, particularly in heavy water.
The grey-tinted lens improves underwater contrast, especially in very bright conditions.
Available in two sizes (M and L).
Tempered glass
Tempered glass is two to five times stronger than traditional glass. When broken, it shatters into small pieces, preventing major accidents. It also has the advantage of being more resistant to scratches than polycarbonate glass.
The mirror glass version softens the luminosity, particularly in shallower or surface areas.
Mask adjustment
The micrometric buckles with buttons, combined with the notched strap on each side of the mask, make for easy, highly precise mask adjustment, even when wearing gloves.
Mask dimensions and weight (size M)
Mask width: 17 cm.

Certification
Mask complies with safety requirements and European EN 16805 standards. Certified by the INPP (Institut National de Plongée Professionnelle) in Marseille (France).
How to choose the right mask size
Place your mask on your face without the strap and press down with your hands to press the mask against your face, blocking your breathing.
If the mask "sucks" well and sticks to your face, it's perfect, it's your size and will be watertight in the water
If, on the contrary, it unhooks and falls off, air is passing through and water will seep in.
Avoid mask fogging
New mask: Wash your mask with washing-up liquid and lukewarm water, using your fingers to degrease it thoroughly. Do not use a sponge.
Before each use, spit saliva into your mask and rub the glass with your fingers, then rinse the mask.
Moisten your face with water to limit temperature differences between your skin and the mask glass, which will limit fogging.
Use an anti-fog spray to completely eliminate fogging.
