WHAT ARE SUMMER MITTENS FOR?
Mittens are there to protect you from injuries caused by rope rubbing or maneuvering. Water softens the skin, making them more fragile. These "short-fingered" gloves are essential, even in summer!
MULTI-SPORT
These mittens have been designed with light sailing in mind. Our design choices make them compatible with other sports such as SUP (Stand-Up Paddle), windsurfing, coastal lanyards and canoeing.
DESIGN
The 500 mittens feature a cutout at the wrist to make it easier to wear the watch. Pull tabs at the end of each finger also make it easy to remove the mittens.
MATERIALS AND GARMENTS
Duragrip (coated polyurethane) on the palm provides excellent grip at an affordable price. The material on the back of the hand is a knitted fabric with elastane, offering natural ventilation and a lightness that will make you forget your mittens during our summer cruises.
Neoprene on the wrist provides support and ease of donning.

The 500 mittens have been redesigned based on your feedback. The entire Tribord team is committed to continuous improvement, and we welcome all your comments to help us design better products.
CHOOSING THE RIGHT SIZE
To take full advantage of the functions of your mittens, we advise you to choose them close to the hand and snug-fitting. If you choose a mitt that's too big, creases will form, irritation will appear and comfort will be reduced.
