TECHNICAL INFORMATION

Action:

A bridle acts on the flexion of the horse's neck and the position of its head. It is used to work on two actions:
The snaffle bit lifts the nape of the neck by acting on the corners of the mouth.
The bridle bit lowers the nape of the neck.
For the well-being of your horse, we advise you not to use the bridle to constrain him, but rather to accompany him in working on forward movement, straightness and lightness.

Restriction:

The bridle bit must be used with its curb chain, a snaffle bit and a French noseband. The setting of the curb chain is very important and must be adapted to the horse's work, experience and needs. To begin riding in a bridle, we recommend that you be accompanied by a professional so that he can check the settings and guide you in the correct use of the bridle bit and curb chain for your horse.

Dressage level :

The bridle is designed for riders and horses with an advanced level of dressage. We do not recommend working young horses in bridle, as their level of dressage is still insufficient and their jaws are not yet fully formed.

Directions for use :

We recommend adjusting the snaffle bit to within one or two folds of the corners of the mouth. The bridle bit should be two fingerbreadths from the lower hooks.
The curb chain should be flat and set so that when the reins are adjusted, the bit legs tilt at a maximum of 45° with the bridle uprights.
The tighter the curb chain, the smaller the angle and the more severe the action. The looser the curb chain, the greater the angle and the lighter the action.

Bit size :

The barrels should protrude a few millimetres on either side of the horse's mouth.

The bit is made of steel
