How is the operating temperature measured?

Our gloves are laboratory-tested using a thermal hand. Minimum temperatures of use (recommended and limits) are based on a study carried out on a panel of 23 testers in a walking situation exposed to temperatures ranging from 5°C to -20°C and a 10 km/h wind. These temperatures apply to walking conditions only. MT500 cut mittens are rated 2 out of 5 for warmth.
