PRODUCT BENEFITS

Heat

Mittens made of 2.5 neoprene mm.

Windproof

Glide skin on the back of the hand to limit the cooling effects of wind.

Can be removed and put back on during navigation without having to stop.

TECHNICAL INFORMATION

Heat

To make these mittens a real ally in cold weather, we've used 2.5 mm neoprene to guarantee sufficient warmth for water temperatures down to 7°C.

Windproof

On the back of the mitt, we used a "glide skin" type of neoprene, i.e. the outer layer of neoprene when it comes out of the baking ovens. This smooth finish provides a certain impermeability to air, enabling neoprene exposed to the wind to cool more slowly, thus limiting heat loss.

Hand exterior 95% Rubber, 5% Polyamide Lower part - Main fabric 90% Rubber, 10% Polyamide Upper part - Main fabric 90% Rubber, 9.5% Polyamide, 0.5% Elastane Hem 82% Polyamide, 18% Elastane

TESTS

These mittens have been tested by our community of windsurfers in temperatures as low as 5° felt, i.e. with real windless temperatures of 7° and winds of 20 to 25 knots (real windless temperatures generally lose 1° every 10 knots of wind).
