Description

ACADEMY Grade 6 - the lightweight bike for beginners

The Grade 6 fromAcademy is a 26-inch bike specially designed for children. In collaboration with the German Institute for Orthopedics and Sport in Bielefeld, Academy set itself the goal of making a children's bike as light and high quality as possible, perfectly suited to children. Ergonomics and weight had a decisive influence here.
Product details

Weight is a decisive factor, especially for children who want to learn to ride a bike. The Grade 6 fromAcademy weighs just 9 kg and is one of the lightest children's bikes on the market. Thanks to its low weight,Academy 's Grade is easier to handle when cornering, making it easier for little cyclists to accelerate and climb hills. With a lightweight bike, little ones don't need much strength to get it moving either.

The low entry height of the frame makes it easy for children to get on. The patented Vario stem grows in height and length and can be infinitely adjusted, allowing the bike to be optimally adapted to the rider's sitting position. The Q factor reflects the rider's pedaling motion. For children, it is particularly important to fit a low Q-factor so that pedaling is optimally adapted to children.
