The best way to get comfortable in a hammock is to lie diagonally rather than lengthways. This way, your back is straight and the hammock is open, allowing you to see what's around you.

The spacing required to hang the hammock is approximately 90% of the hammock's length. For a 3m hammock, this means 2.70m. So your hammock will have the right curve for maximum comfort.
