The Asics Gel Kayano 29 has been an iconic running shoe in the Asics range for many years. A stability model par excellence, this new edition of the Kayano offers a new, more dynamic running experience underfoot. The Kayano 29 brings a few changes to the previous model: stability is no longer provided by the Dynamic Duomax. Instead, it's provided by a different technology: Litetruss. This reinforcement provides the same stability as the previous innovation, but with greater flexibility.
In addition, the outer heel counter has been redesigned for a more comfortable and stable stride. As for cushioning, the Gel technology at the rear of the foot blends with the new FlyteFoam Blast+ at the front. This top-of-the-range foam enables both soft landings and dynamic forefoot relaunching. It also reduces shock and impact, whether you're running on clean paths or roads.
Inside the shoe, the Ortholite X-55 orthopedic footbed provides extra support and cushioning. What's more, the AHARPLUS rubber outsole gives the Kayano 29 excellent durability. Finally, 360° reflective elements keep you visible whether you're running day or night.
