The new Garmin Forerunner 265 is a multisport running watch that accompanies you both in sport and in everyday life. It offers multiple functions for your training in a wide range of disciplines, as well as a variety of information for your everyday life. Forerunner 265 also gives you a better understanding of your body and how it functions, from getting up to going to bed, as well as when you're asleep. Above all, it gives you information about your state of recovery, or your state of fitness.

The Forerunner 265 offers a wide range of sporting activities. Over 30 sports are available on the device, including running, swimming (pool or open water), mountain biking and many more. For each of these sports, demand the best and benefit from a wide range of information such as speed, pace, time, altimetry, heart rate...

Every morning when you wake up, receive an overview of your sleep and training prospects as soon as you wake up, as well as your VFC status and weather information. You can even customize your report to display whatever you want.

The "race" widget helps you prepare for your next race, whether it's a 10 km or a marathon, with training tips, personalized daily training suggestions and final time predictions based on course details, weather and performance.

And after each training session, you can start preparing for the next one, thanks to daily suggestions that adapt after each session. Taking into account your performance and recovery, the Forerunner 265 schedules your next training session in the calendar of the Garmin Connect app. Follow-up goes even further, as the Garmin Coach function provides you with complete, adaptive training programs. These programs are perfectly applicable to 5km, 10km and even Marathon goals, thanks to expert advice.

Workouts that can be readjusted thanks to the Training Status function and statuses such as VFC. This tells you whether your workout is too intense, efficient or at an optimal level.

The power of your run can be calculated and defined using a Running Dynamics Pod or HRM-Pro heart rate monitor. These sensors help you to better situate your performance and progress more efficiently.

If you feel tired after a long session, take the time to recuperate thanks to the "recovery time" function. This allows you to regenerate and tackle the next part of your workout with efficiency and motivation.

Thanks to the PacePro function, you can perfectly adapt your pace to the effort ahead. This function guides you along defined routes or over a selected distance using GPS.

Training Effect data shows you how your training sessions influence your endurance, power and speed, with data such as aerobic and anaerobic values. What's more, the "Performance Condition" function analyzes your pace and heart rate as you run for a real-time assessment of your body.

Analyze your stride with Running Dynamics. All you need is a Running Dynamics Pod or HRM-Pro heart rate monitor. And get key information such as cadence, stride length, ground contact time and much more.

Show your imagination and originality by creating your own routes. Thanks to the Garmin Connect application, you can create your own routes, over the distance of your choice, whether by bike, skis or on foot. Or use Strava or Komoot to do the same, and transfer them straight to your watch.

Trend Race Predictor lets you estimate your performance and times over all road race distances. What's more, trend data shows the impact of your training over time.

One of the new features of the Forerunner 255 is the cross-training function. This means you can combine your training with several different types of exercise. You can also download them via the Garmin Connect application.

For heart rate, you can simply use your watch and take advantage of the heart rate sensor on your wrist. It tells you your heart rate both during training and at rest. The sensor also works underwater.
