The MM Foramen Free bridle was developed by Dutch dentist Marcel Michielsen. The bridle, and in particular the construction of the noseband, helps to reduce wear on the molars of the lower and upper jaws. The specially developed noseband of the Foramen Free bridle has two anatomical recesses at the bottom where padding has been omitted to create space for free, unobstructed operation of the nerves and blood vessels that leave the infra-orbital foramen at this point.Because of these anatomical recesses, the noseband can be fixed later, with the bit in front of the molars remaining on the layers where it should be, and the nerves and veins can supply the nose area with sensation and blood. This prevents wear on the molars and benefits the horse's well-being and the rider's safety. When the bit gets between the horse's molars due to a loose noseband, the rider loses control of the horse. The Foramen Free bridle is approved by the KNHS. The noseband has been labeled Very Horse friendly by the FEI and has been approved for use at all FEI events. The helmet is also special, anatomically shaped and lightly padded. Equipped with a suspended browband. This helps reduce pressure on the horse's ears. Concealed fastenings on cheeks and reins.bridle comes with Web reins included.
