In creating Gel 100, Maurten has done something very ingenious. Gel 100 is a biopolymer matrix filled with a mixture of glucose and fructose (at a ratio of 0.8:1). This enables it to absorb up to 100g of carbohydrates per hour. So Gel 100 is built using natural hydrogel technology and is constructed with 6 natural ingredients. What's more, it contains no colorants or preservatives. It comes in 40g portions containing 60% carbohydrates.
When to eat it
Gel 100 can be taken a few minutes before, during or after exercise.
Amount of energy
Recent studies have shown that our bodies can use up to 90 grams of carbohydrates every hour. Scientific research has also shown that a fructose/glucose ratio of 0.8/1 allows even greater absorption. That's 100 grams per hour. Gel 100 is developed using this ratio, and is packed with energy. One serving contains around 25 grams of carbohydrates.
How does it work?
