For the sake of transparency, we prefer to give you the exact composition of a Newfeel nordic walking pole: the NW P500 pole is therefore made up of : 30% resin + 70% fibers. These fibers are made up of 50% carbon fiber and 50% glass fiber.
Nordic walking is practiced with specific poles on flat or gently sloping terrain. Single-pole poles will help you propel your movement and give your upper body a thorough workout.
Trekking is done with adjustable poles, which provide support when climbing and prevent slipping when descending.
Nordic walking is always done with two poles to enhance propulsion. The gauntlets allow you to release and catch the poles without dropping them. Single-pole poles have the advantage of being lightweight and not shrinking in use. They absorb vibrations, so your joints are spared. The tips of the poles grip the ground and propel you forward. Removable tips ensure grip on hard ground.
Nordic walking is a complete sport, accessible to all. It tones the body, improves breathing, is effective for weight loss and strengthens bones. Added to these physical benefits is the sense of well-being that comes with practicing this outdoor sport. More information at www.newfeel.com
