Polar Ignite 3

the precision of detail...

This new generation of the Polar Ignite is more sophisticated and precise than ever. This model combines multiple technologies, making it a top-of-the-range, comprehensive sports watch.

But before you go any further and start training, you need a good night's sleep. That's where Polar Ignite 3 comes in. It tracks your sleep, heart rate and activity levels, so you can get to know your body better. Every human being is different, but we only have 24 hours a day to move and progress. So follow your watch, and live in harmony with yourself by finding your own rhythm. What's more, when you wake up, your watch will tell you how much your body has recovered. This is the Nightly Recharge function. It also supports you on a daily basis, helping you to make the right choices to stay in shape and reach your goals.

This function has two components: the quality of your sleep (also known as Sleep Status), and the way your nervous system calms down over the course of the night. This is SNA Status. In addition, Sleep Plus Stages tells you how long you spend in each sleep phase (light, deep and REM).

Now that you're in good shape, you can get on with your training. Unless you'd prefer to do a fitness test first, either running or walking. The fitness test is simple: it tells you your VO2 Max (maximum oxygen consumption), which is an important indicator of your aerobic capacity. Basically, the higher your VO2 Max, the stronger your heart. The test lasts just 5 minutes and is performed in the supine position, without any additional equipment. It takes into account factors such as resting heart rate, heart rate variability and personal data such as gender, age, height...

The walking test is even simpler. Simply walk steadily for 15 minutes on level ground. The calculation will then take into account the distance covered, heart rate during exercise and your personal data.

Now there's the running test to help you run at the right pace during your training sessions. For this one, it will show you your progress and allow you to customize your power, speed and heart rate zones.

Once the session is over, it's time to relax and recharge. Then put your trust in the Serene function. This breathing exercise helps you manage stress, build resilience and improve concentration. This function helps you find the right balance between your heart rate and your breathing rhythm.

Polar Ignite 3 has plenty of pace. It has an ultra-fast processor and an extended battery so you can move longer, farther, to your goals. It also has a new optical bezel that takes your heart rate at the wrist, more accurately than ever. It features 10 LEDs with wavelengths for better light infiltration. What's more, 4 photodetectors help cater for the light reflected by blood vessels. It's hard to beat that.

For autonomy, you have up to 100 hours of training in energy-saving mode. Up to 30 hours in GPS mode with cardio activated and up to 5 days in watch mode.

The GPS is also highly accurate, thanks to the satellite navigation system. There's also a return-to-departure function.

For running, your Ignite 3 offers customized training programs that can be consulted directly on your device. Available from 5000m to Marathon. You'll benefit from periodic plans to help you prepare for your goals. And when it comes to swimming, you'll have access to comprehensive, precise data to help you analyze your session, whether in the pool or in open water.
