Description

Buttery soft, highly durable and easy to adjust, this breastplate is ideal for show jumping as well as many other equestrian disciplines.
Easy to fit and adjustable at the saddle D-rings and girth, it allows you to optimize the fit to suit your horse's individual needs. A removable martingale allows you to use the breastplate as an aid to keep your horse's head at a controllable height. Two D-rings have been sewn onto the chest strap to allow the martingale piece to be lowered or training aids to be attached. Complemented by premium stainless steel buckles, clips and fasteners, this breastplate is perfect for everyday use or competition.
Why use horse breastplates?
Breastplates are commonly used to help keep your saddle in the right place and prevent it from sliding back. They distribute pressure evenly over the withers and chest, reducing discomfort for your horse. This breastplate features a removable martingale that can be threaded through the reins and used to prevent your horse from lifting his head too much.

To optimize the life of your breastplate and avoid stains, we strongly recommend that you care for the leather after each use.
  1. Use lukewarm water on a damp cloth or soft sponge to gently remove dust, dirt and grease from the surface. Be sure to concentrate on the areas around the curls and the main points of contact with your horse.
  2. We recommend conditioning the leather using a soap/cream sparingly, taking care to rub gently and using circular movements until all the product has been absorbed.
  3. Using a clean cloth, wipe off any excess soap/cream from the surface.
  4. Allow leather to dry naturally in a well-ventilated area, away from any source of direct heat. v
