Description

Bits are commonly used when breaking and training a horse. Keys, also known as 'players', are designed to encourage the horse to bite and accept the bit, and can also provide a soothing distraction for the horse. The pressure in the mouth doesn't change much and the action of the bit is mainly on the tongue and lips, while exerting some pressure on the bars of the mouth depending on the size of the horse's tongue.
The loose ring prevents the horse from leaning or binding on the bit. Ideal for horses with very soft mouths who don't like complicated mouthpieces, as this bit is very soft.

Stainless steel horse bits...
Stainless steel is the most commonly used material for horse bits because it is durable, easy to clean and does not rust. Some of our stainless steel bits feature copper mouthpieces that help create a warm feeling and encourage the horse to salivate and accept the bit. Stainless steel bits are suitable for a wide range of horses and are available in many models, so you can choose the bit that's right for your horse and your discipline.
Match your mouthpiece to keys with one of our anatomical bridles.
For health and hygiene reasons, this bit cannot be returned if removed from the model.
