Description

The Hanging cheek is a fixed cheek bit that encourages flexion, making it particularly useful for horses with a high head carriage. It can also be useful for horses who are unsure of the bit, as movement in the mouth is limited.
The double-jointed mouthpiece with copper pad distributes pressure evenly over the tongue and bars of the mouth, while promoting salivation and reducing the nutcracker effect of a single-jointed bit. Made from stainless steel, the most commonly used material for horse bits, it is durable, easy to clean, tasteless and will not rust.

Stainless steel horse bits...
Stainless steel is the most commonly used material for horse bits because it is durable, easy to clean and will not rust. Some of our stainless steel bits feature copper mouthpieces that help create a warm feeling and encourage the horse to salivate and accept the bit. Stainless steel bits are suitable for a wide range of horses and are available in many models, allowing you to choose the bit that's right for your horse and your discipline.
Match your bit with one of our anatomically designed bridles.
Please note that for health and hygiene reasons, this bit is not returnable if removed from the model.
