The Lucanta lining incorporates a forward-cut neckline. Two integrated wither pads have been strategically placed on either side of the spine, distributing pressure over a larger surface area. Ideal for horses with pronounced withers or suffering from withers pain. This specialized blanket is easily attached to your Lucanta blanket using two Velcro straps on either side of the withers and two clips on the back. Once properly attached to your blanket, the liners are secure and won't slip. An ingenious way to add warmth to your horse's blanket, without the cost of a new blanket.
Your Lucanta blanket liner has been carefully hand-packed in a reusable zippered storage bag to keep your tack room clean when not in use and easy to transport.
We recommend increasing the weight of your liners as the temperature changes and your horse's personal needs change. Keeping your horse warm and comfortable in cooler weather can help maintain its condition.
250 g blanket
The medium-weight 250 g liner is a popular choice among people who need a significant increase in the warmth of their horse's blanket. It is ideal for the bitterly cold periods of spring, autumn and winter.
Note: our liners can be washed in most domestic washing machines, which is an added benefit for good hygiene. We recommend placing the liner in a mesh wash bag and using a horse blanket wash.
