The evolution of Ritchey handlebars continues with the WCS Ergomax. This new handlebar benefits from a rich history of handlebar design and development, and combines it with the modern requirements of demanding cyclists who like to ride on a variety of surfaces.
Designed to improve control and comfort on soft surfaces, the ErgoMax is ideal for gravel bikes as it places the hands in a wider, more stable position in drops. The ErgoMax is also perfectly suited to road bikes designed for endurance, its ergonomics offering unrivalled comfort.
The handlebars are raised by 10 mm in the collar area, for a slightly straighter riding position. They are then ovalized and angled slightly backwards by 4° to distribute the weight of the rider's hands and wrists more evenly and place them in a more natural position.
Always with ergonomics in mind, the ErgoMax also features drops with a nice 12° flare to keep the rider's hands in a comfortable, confident position, while adding a little extra stability when cornering or sprinting.
The new Ritchey ErgoMax handlebars offer more control, welcome comfort and increased confidence when riding gravel, going on multi-day adventures or covering long miles on tarmac.
