The new Comp Skyline saddle retains the ergonomic, bone-supporting curve of the seat and the generous, perineal-pressure-relieving cut-out of the original Skyline, but modernizes it with a new construction for greater durability, improved aesthetics and lighter weight.
Thanks to a unique manufacturing technology that adheres the saddle pad to the base without visible seams, glue, stitching or staples, the new Comp Skyline is now waterproof, lasts longer and stays light. The saddle padding is made from a new polyurethane material that absorbs 30% more shock than traditional foam, reducing rider fatigue.
Like the original, the new Comp Skyline features a curved two-axis shape that provides rearward elevation of the saddle and a little lift at the nose. This shape is ideal for riders who lack flexibility and want more support, while offering a good position for cyclists who demand a good dose of performance with their comfort. Another Skyline highlight is Ritchey's revolutionary patented Vector Wing technology, which helps eliminate hot spots by dissipating pressure more evenly for all-day comfort wherever your pedal strokes take you - road, gravel, trails and beyond.
