We've taken on the task of improving bottom bracket standards to bring you the UBB4630. Made from 7000 series aluminum alloy, the UBB4630 uses a threaded sleeve to lock the two cups in place - without all the locking effort resting on the press fit shell, resulting in uniform rotation and avoiding unwanted noise.
Embedding in the press fit zone prevents bearing overload and also improves bearing alignment for longer life. The bearing's external location allows smoother rotation and greater rigidity of the housing shell for PF30 and BBright standards. The internal sleeve also prevents cable guides from rubbing against rotating parts.
