This shoe follows the current trend towards Oversize soles. These are higher soles, offering greater cushioning and more flexibility over the miles. The midsole here features PWRRUN PB cushioning, found on the brand's competition road models. This is an energy-efficient foam for greater speed on the trails. There's also a rocker on the front for a more fluid stride and a more dynamic pace, whether climbing or descending.
The Saucony Xodus Ultra 3 is designed with a lightweight, breathable mesh that keeps your feet cooler for longer. This mesh also protects you from debris encountered in mountains or forests. So, even in wet weather, you'll keep your comfort intact and complete freedom of movement.
Finally, the outsole features PWRTRAC technology. Its 4.5mm-thick multidirectional studs give you maximum grip on all terrains.
