The new GRX wheel helps you ride Gravel courses that are faster, go further and give you more fun. Wider tires require wider rims, to maintain their lateral stability at low pressures. Shimano has studied the complicated relationship between tire size, rim width, air pressure and tire lateral stiffness, to optimize the GRX rim width for tires from 32 to 50 mm in section. We also sought the best balance between weight, strength and rim profile, to offer an exceptional wheel for Gravel.
