The Xebex Variable Resistance Inflatable Bike features a magnetic resistance system with 8 different levels for a wide range of resistance levels. This allows you to personalize your workout according to your fitness goals, such as increasing endurance, improving workout time, recovery, strength, explosiveness, etc.
Adjusting resistance over a wide range
The Xebex AirPlus Expert Bike features air resistance and 8 different levels of magnetic resistance for a wide range of resistance levels. This allows you to tailor your training to your fitness goals, such as increasing endurance, improving training time, recovery, strength, explosiveness, etc.
Levels 1-2: Lighter than the standard resistance of our inflatable bike. Suitable for light warm-ups and cool-downs, endurance training and young or older athletes.
Level 3: Standard resistance of an inflatable bike
Level 4-5: Heavier than our standard airbag resistance. Novice level: hill climbing, good for power and cardiovascular training
Level 6-8: Highest levels. Expert level: climbing, power training, burn more calories per hour with higher watts
Belt drive
You can expect a smooth and relatively quiet ride thanks to its belt drive. The belt requires less maintenance than chain-driven air bikes.
The heavyweight base
With its 79 KG base, the Xebex AirPlus Expert Bike stays put during the most intense workouts.
Comfort adjustments
To maximize comfort, the seat is oversized and adjustable in height and depth. To make adjustments while underway, simply loosen and retighten the seat post to the desired position.
Multi-grip handlebars (neutral and regular grips)
Multi-grip handlebars provide a neutral or wide grip and are padded to reduce slippage.
Console
The Xebex AirPlus Performance Bike contains everything you're used to and more! The console is designed specifically for functional training, with preset and customized intervals for HIIT training, as well as time, distance, calorie and heart rate goals. The console knows and displays the level of AirPlus resistance you're using, and takes this into account when calculating calories and power. Once you've completed your workout, the console displays an easy-to-read summary.
Our large console screen makes it easy for users to measure their performance and track their progress. On a single screen, you can see 8 different key metrics: Total Time, Work Time, Calories, Distance, Watts, Speed, RPM, and Heart Rate. Everything you need in one easy-to-read console, with the ability to set up interval training, target training, heart rate training, and more. 5k chest belts are compatible.
The console also allows you to switch from one unit of measurement to another: Meters or Miles, as well as from maximum reading to current reading. Our console is easier to use and reads speed changes more accurately than other inflatable bike consoles. We've also included the ability to set or target distance, calories and time while the console counts down from your goal, so you know how much time you have left to work. Set the work interval, rest and number of revolutions in less than 5 seconds.
How does it compare to other Air Bikes?
There are many advantages to including variable resistance in a standard inflatable bike, as it allows athletes to train for strength, cardio and multiple combinations in between. Users can better achieve specific goals (general health improvement, weight loss, muscle toning) thanks to the wide range of resistance provided by the additional magnetic resistance, as well as the natural resistance of the flywheel as you increase RPM. What's more, this equipment allows users to gradually increase the intensity of their workout as they progress along their fitness journey.
You can burn an average of 57% more calories/hour using resistance level 8 than level 1. Likewise, electrical power increases by an average of almost 76%*.
*Note: assumes a 60KG user.
