VAD SYSTEM: The bypass tube sends air to the mouthpiece, creating a vortex with a low-pressure zone in the center, which holds the membrane down during inspiration, offering very sensitive and easy breathing at all depths.

The soft silicone tip reduces jaw fatigue and provides a secure grip even during long dives.

Maintenance tips

Never use solvents or hydrocarbon-based products to clean or lubricate your regulator yourself. Never use aerosol cans, as the propellants may attack plastics.

Regulator overhaul

Mares recommends that you have your regulator serviced every two years, and visually inspected at least once a year. Both checks should be carried out by a certified workshop Mares.
