Maintenance
Make sure the dust cap is securely in place.
Soak the regulator in a basin filled with fresh water.
DANGER: If you are using a garden hose, do not use a pressurized jet to clean the 2nd stage. The pressure of the jet could damage the membrane and/or the internal valve.
Wipe the regulator dry.
Do not expose your regulator to direct sunlight for long periods.
Storage
Store your regulator in a clean, dry place, away from light and at a moderate temperature.
Do not store it near a source of heat, or in a room likely to contain chemical vapors such as chlorine or ozone (e.g. pool equipment room).
Never store your regulator mounted on a cylinder
DANGER: Never use solvents or hydrocarbon-based cleaning products to clean or lubricate your regulator. Never use aerosol cans.
Revision and control
AquaLung requires that your regulator be serviced at least once every two years, and visually inspected at least once a year.
Both examinations must be carried out by an authorized workshop Aqualung
Depending on the number of dives and conditions of use, your regulator will need to be serviced more frequently.
