Dimensions of the stop disc
Closed diameter:
- 28mm
Weight:
- 52g per piece
The stop discs are sold in sets of 2, so you'll need two sets if you train with two dumbbells.
Why choose this set of bodybuilding disc stops?
In weight training, the disc stop is an indispensable accessory, but can be complicated to handle (especially butterfly disc stops!). That's why we've created this disc-stop which is easy to install and remove, in just a few seconds, with just one hand.
Its 5-point clamping system guarantees your safety by preventing weights from slipping off the bar (up to 15kg if the dumbbell is in the vertical position).
How to install these muscle-building disc stops
Disc stops are installed on barbells or dumbbells, after the weights, to hold them in place during your workout.
Here's how to install it correctly:
- Lift the burgundy pull tab to loosen the disc stop.
- Thread the disc stop onto the 28mm barbell or dumbbell.
- Close the disc stop, replacing the burgundy part.
Your disc stop is installed!
Remember to put one at each end of your barbell.
Use your disk stop safely
Maximum weight supported in vertical position:
- 15kg
Always check the disc-stop attachment before starting your set.
The pressure exerted by bodybuilding weights on the disc-stop is relatively low in the horizontal position, which is why we do not indicate a maximum weight supported in this position.
