Why swim with fins?
To give your lower body an extra workout, but not the only one! With the flippers, you can work the front and back of the thighs, the calves, the buttocks and the abdominal muscles, while improving your cardio.
First time using fins? Here's our advice:
Our best advice is to start gradually: begin at your own pace and alternate between swimming with fins and classic swimming.
Fins allow you to diversify your sessions in order to achieve your goals (improve your technique, tone up, build muscle, lose weight...).
How stiff are these fins?
Trainfin swimming fins are semi-rigid fins.
The stiffer the blade, the greater the muscular effort required.
The softer the blade, the more efficient and ample the kick. Your muscle tone will determine the type of effort you're looking for (cardiovascular or muscular).
Type of shoe :
Trainfin swim fins have a closed shoe.
The type of shoe on a pair of fins determines how the foot is supported during kicking (important for effective kicking).
Open shoes allow the ankle to move more freely
Closed shoes support the foot in its natural position.
How long are these fins?
Trainfin fins are long fins.

The short fin guarantees a good kicking frequency and cardio stimulation. Movements are very similar to a swimmer's "natural" movements.
The long wing guarantees a fuller kick and greater muscle work.
