The swim fin is ideal for swimming faster and longer. You'll simultaneously work your heart rate and strengthen your lower-body muscles (thighs, buttocks, calves, sheathing).

Rigidity is characterized by material density. The stiffer the blade, the greater the muscular effort required. The softer the blade, the more efficient and ample the stroke. The type of effort required (cardiovascular or muscular) depends on the tone you set.

Flipper shoes ensure that the foot is supported when kicking (important for effective kicking). So take the time to try your fins before you buy. Check that the foot fits snugly and that there are few uncovered areas (to avoid water ingress). The choice of size is also important.
