What makes the K100 Tarmak basketball hoop perfect for toddlers just starting out?
Basketball is a sport renowned for developing the psychomotor skills of youngsters. And the more kids score, the happier they are!
The K100 and its size 3 ball have been designed to cushion shots. This considerably increases the success of shots, and therefore the children's enjoyment!
It's also easy to dismantle and store in its base, which doubles as a carrying case. You can then slide it under the bed and even take it on vacation!

Which ball to play basketball with?
The size of the ball depends on the age or sex of the player.
Baby basketball: sizes 1 to 3.
Girls and boys under 10: size 5.
Girls over 10 or women and boys 10 to 12: size 6.
Boys over 12 and men: size 7.
If you want a very durable ball, opt for a rubber ball. If you want a ball with a good feel for the ball, you'll need a leather or synthetic ball.
For the K100, a size 3 plastic ball is supplied.
Lester your basketball hoop with water or sand?
Most basketball baskets can be weighted with water or sand (see product information).
Sand is denser, however, so for the same volume it will be heavier: your basket will be more stable (but less mobile).
Water can also freeze in winter and break the plastic base at very low temperatures, or leak out invisibly if there are cracks in the base.
Our advice: for greater safety, weight your basket with sand.
Can Tarmak basketball baskets be used in public and collective areas?
Our baskets are designed for private use (family, friends).
They comply with French (decree no. 96-495 of June 4, 1996) and Portuguese (decree-law 100-2003 modified by 82-2004) regulations.
They are not intended for use as restrictive ("drifts of use") as that of public and collective access.
Collective use implies the application of regular tests on site and is subject to security clearance.
