Why wear loose-fitting sweatpants when urban dancing?
Urban dance requires great dexterity of movement. With a series of figures and positions on the ground, in the air and standing, dancers often defy the laws of gravity. But to achieve this, you need to be able to move at ease without being hindered by your clothes. That's why loose-fitting cuts are favored in hip-hop. That's the choice we made for these loose pants. We also added elastane to the fabric to make it more stretchy.
What makes these break-dance sweatpants so breathable?
Breaking is all about moving, doing tricks at breakneck speed and, inevitably, sweating. So if dancing gives you a thrill, it's not certain that you'll appreciate the humidity involved the most. Because we're motivated by your comfort in practice, we've opted for a synthetic fabric that wicks away perspiration and dries quickly. So you can express yourself the way you want without worrying about getting wet.
Are hip-hop sweatpants durable?
Break dance floor moves can take a toll on your pants. To prevent them from wearing out too quickly, we've designed a pair of pants that can withstand the rigors of floor tricks. Thanks to a particularly abrasion-resistant fabric, they're not afraid to take on the asphalt.
What size should I choose for my urban dance sweatpants?
Our breakdance collection is unisex. These hip hop pants are therefore suitable for both men and women.
Regarding sizing, we recommend that all male and female dancers wear their usual size. In fact, even though these pants come in men's sizes, men have fewer hips than women.
It's always best to try them on for size. And at Decathlon, returns are easy.
How were the break dance sweatpants designed?
For each of our product ranges, we take our inspiration from those who make sport happen. Thus, our breaking collection was designed with one of our Team Athlete members, Gaëtan Alin aka BBoy Lagaet, the 2019 world champion in the discipline.

How do I care for my urban dance sweatpants?
These break-dance pants are made from synthetic materials which, although technical and strong, are quite sensitive to washing. To avoid damaging your hip hop pants, we recommend washing them at no more than 30°. To prolong their life, remember to turn them inside out.
