Our pants are tested on a thermal mannequin in the DECATHLON laboratories. They are designed to protect you from the cold down to -5°C.
To achieve this, we have chosen a 200g/m² fleece lining for the inside of the pants. So, are you ready to face the cold outside?
Waterproofing
With a waterproof rating of 2000mm, the pants offer a high level of waterproofing.
The resistance of a fabric to water pressure is measured in mm water column (test based on ISO 811). The higher the pressure, the more waterproof the fabric. A component with a water resistance of 2000mm will therefore withstand the pressure exerted by 2000mm of water (roughly equivalent to a 2-hour shower).

We have chosen a 220g/m² polyester main fabric for abrasion resistance.
