Are these pants warm enough?
Based on the same principle as an animal's fur or feathers, the inside of these brushed fleece pants is able to capture air and use it as insulation. So your body stays warm. Tested and validated thermal comfort down to -18°C
How do you measure thermal comfort?
The thermal resistance test evaluates heat loss between the body and the outside, indicating the insulating efficiency of the product. It is performed on fabric using probes, or on garments using thermal dummies, to measure body heat retention.
Why limit snowfall?
Limiting snow ingress into hiking pants is crucial for comfort, moisture protection and leg cooling. Thanks to their semi-elasticated waistband and leg bottoms, these pants effectively block snow. Comfort for confident walking!
Why water-repellent pants?
The water-repellent fabric of these hiking pants actively repels water. So you stay dry in light rain or wet conditions. And for added protection, key areas such as the buttocks and lower legs are fitted with waterproof reinforcements.
How to reactivate water repellency?
To maintain its effectiveness, you need to renew the water-repellent treatment regularly, ideally after each wash. We can supply you, in store or on our website, with suitable products in spray or liquid form.
How do I wash these hiking pants?
These pants can be machine-washed at 30°, if possible on an outdoor program. Remember to turn them inside out before washing.
