Pants ready for the cold?
Our pants have the key to keeping you warm down to -14°C. With a full lining of air-entrapping brushed fabric that exploits its insulating potential, they form a thermal barrier that retains body heat. Its windproof fabric enhances this protection against the cold.
How do you measure thermal comfort?
The thermal resistance test evaluates heat loss between the body and the outside, indicating the insulating efficiency of the product. It is performed on fabric using probes, or on garments using thermal dummies, to measure body heat retention.
What protection against snow?
When hiking, the lower leg can be a weak point against snow, allowing it to enter the boots. That's why we came up with the idea of tightening the bottom of these pants to limit snow entry.
Why choose water-repellent pants?
These hiking pants are designed with a water-repellent fabric that allows water to bead up and prevent it from seeping in. So even in light rain or damp conditions, you'll stay dry. For added protection, we've added waterproof reinforcements to the buttocks and lower legs.
How to reactivate water repellency?
To maintain its effectiveness, you need to renew the water-repellent treatment regularly, ideally after each wash. We can supply you, in store or on our website, with suitable products in spray or liquid form.
How does it free up movement?
For the freedom of movement that's essential when hiking, we've designed these pants with a stretch fabric.
We've also fitted them with a wide, elastic waistband that covers the hips, loins and belly to keep you as comfortable as possible on every hike.
