BREATHABILITY TEST R.E.T.
Breathability is measured by the coefficient of Thermal Evaporative Resistance (T.E.R.). It measures a fabric's resistance to moisture evaporation. The lower this resistance (and therefore the coefficient), the more breathable the fabric! (test based on ISO 11092 standard).
Our 500 anti-UV convertible pants, with an index of less than 6, are therefore highly breathable and perfectly suited to intense effort.
ANTI-UV UPF 50+
UPF is a globally standardized sun protection factor (Ultra Violet Protection Factor). It defines the proportion of UV transmission. To comply with standards (EN 131758-1), a UPF 50+ component must block at least 98% of UVBs and 95% of UVAs.
Our convertible 500 anti-UV pants are UPF 50+ certified. This guarantees effective protection against the sun. They can be used in and out of the water.
This protection is resistant even after washing.
