Why hybrid construction for the MT500 trekking pants?
These pants are designed using 3 different components:
- a resistant fabric (198 g/m2) on the areas to be protected from abrasion (buttocks, front lower leg). This fabric is also stretchable, giving you great freedom of movement;
- a lightweight, breathable fabric (145 g/m2) on the rest of the pant;
- a highly stretchable crotch yoke (15% elastane).
What accessories are available for the MT500 men's pants?
The MT500 trekking pants are equipped with:
- 2 zipped hand pockets;
- 1 zipped right thigh pocket with 1 phone compartment inside;
- 1 left thigh pocket with flap;
- 1 zipped back pocket.
An elastic tightening system at the bottom of the leg ensures a perfect fit of the pants on the shoe.
The pants are sold with a belt.
What is the water repellency of the MT500 trouser reinforcement zones?
These pants feature water-repellent inserts (front lower leg, buttocks) that let water slide off the surface of the fabric. Please note that this does not mean WATERPROOF.
Water repellency prevents the pants from getting wet too quickly. However, they won't keep you dry in regular rain. For this, we recommend adding an overtrouser such as MT500 (ref. 8736465).
Water repellency can be reactivated by using a water repellency reactivator spray (ref. 8800346).
What is the cut of the MT500 pants?
Regular fit, which, thanks to the use of stretch fabric where needed, guarantees a high level of comfort on the move.
