TECHNICAL INFORMATION

Why a hybrid construction for these MT900 women's trekking pants?

These pants are designed using 2 different components:
- a highly resistant fabric (277 g/m2) on the areas to be protected from abrasion (buttocks, knees and front lower leg);
- a resistant fabric (198 g/m2) and stretch (12% elastane) on the rest of the pants giving you great freedom of movement.

What can you say about the water repellency of the MT900 women's pants?

These MT900 pants are water-repellent. It lets water slide off the surface of the fabric. Please note, this does not mean WATERPROOF.

Water repellency prevents the pants from getting wet too quickly. However, they won't keep you dry in regular rain. For this, we recommend adding an overtrouser such as MT500 (ref. 8736465).

Water repellency can be reactivated by using a water repellency reactivator spray (ref. 8800346).

How are the MT900 women's trekking pants accessorized?

The MT900 trekking pants are equipped with several pockets:
- 2 zippered hand pockets;
- 2 zippered thigh pockets.

A hook on each lower leg secures the pants to the boot to limit the entry of rocks and snow.

2 ventilation zips on the sides improve air circulation.

The belt supplied with the pants can also be used as a tightening strap for your equipment.

Which way do the pockets open on the MT900 women's trekking pants?

We've deliberately positioned the zipper direction of the hand pockets downwards.
So the zipper slider will never get in the way when you tighten the waist belt on your backpack. What's more, your belongings will be safe in your pockets!

TESTS

These pants have been tested and validated in real-life conditions. They were worn for 5 weeks by several people who completed the Grande Traversée des Alpes (GTA) in late spring 2017.
