Resistance
We use a lightweight (150 g/m2), yet highly resistant fabric on the knees and buttocks to ensure maximum resistance. It's made from 200-denier polyamide yarn on the warp and 320 denier on the weft (denier measures the thickness of the yarn). Solid stuff!
What is component water repellency?
These pants feature water-repellent inserts (knees, buttocks) that let water slide off the surface of the fabric. Please note that this does not mean WATERPROOF. Water repellency prevents the pants from getting wet too quickly, but won't keep you dry in regular rain. For this, we recommend adding an overtrouser like the MT500 (ref. 8493660). Water repellency can be reactivated by tumbling the pants for 10 min at low temperature.
Features
To make it easy to identify the lower legs without hesitation, we've used a red zipper puller on the right leg and a gray one on the left. So you won't confuse the 2! Partially elasticated lower legs for a better fit with your trekking boots!

We recommend that you always wash the pants with the leg bottoms zipped up, to ensure even coloring of the product.
