The back of the pao is made of suede, for added comfort and to prevent the pao from spinning. The 2 straps are lined with foam to reduce friction on the forearms. As for the handle, it's seamless so it won't get in the way when you're holding the pao.
Design
The pao is slightly curved to absorb the energy of impacts and to provide a suitable shape for kicking.
The target in the center of the pao improves your precision while working on your power.
And finally, do you breathe when you strike? So does the pao: its 2 riveted openings expel air on impact.
Strength and comfort: we explain the pao design
To accompany you for longer, the pao is built to last: its PU coating on the impact zone resists rubbing and impact, and the handle is secured with rivets.
And to combine comfort and protection, the pao's foam is composed of several layers: soft outer layers protect against impact, and dense inner layers absorb energy.
We tell you the story of this pao
Originally, we wanted to offer a pao designed for coaches as well as boxers.
So starting in February 2018, our 4-person design team began looking at prototypes, talking with our suppliers, thinking about athletes' needs and proposing designs.
What followed were in-house tests with 20 boxers and duration tests in clubs.
So we're happy to offer you a reliable, comfortable... and beautiful product!
