TECHNICAL INFORMATION

Features

Stainless steel fastening ring on the outside for use with a retractor/spool (sold separately).
Polyamide main fabric with polyurethane coating for good abrasion and abrasion resistance. Seam protected and reinforced by a protective braid.
Features two SOLAS reflective strips on the top for easy identification by the boat.

Parachute inflation/deflation

The parachute can be inflated in three ways: conventionally from below, by mouth or with a direct system hose using the inflator (so it's surface-inflatable).
Once inflated, the air is completely trapped, so it always remains fully inflated.
It is fitted with an overpressure valve to let air out in the event of overpressure (if over-inflated, particularly at depth). This valve can also be used to deflate the parachute.
