Behavior in the sun
Although this shelter provides protection from the sun, phenomena such as reverberation (on water, sand, etc.), heat, time of day, etc. must be taken into account. The use of this shelter does not exempt you from the need to follow the appropriate precautions: wear sunglasses, a hat or cap, a UV top (refer to the OLAIAN range of anti-UV clothing products), apply a suitable sun cream regularly, drink regularly, etc.
Modular
Supplied with removable side walls with hook-and-loop fasteners to transform your parasol into a beach sun shelter. Sand pockets keep the side panels on the ground.
Wind resistance
The Paruv 160 parasol withstands winds of up to 20Km/h with the foot 25cm deep in the sand.
The separate purchase of the orange screw foot increases wind resistance by 10km/h.
When these walls are assembled and the pockets filled with sand, the parasol is held steady (foot deep in the sand, with mast tilted) and can withstand winds of up to 20Km/h in this tilted position, with its back to the wind.
