Sun protection and new interior finish
UPF 50+ component: blocks at least 98% of UVB and 95% of UVA rays.
We have changed the interior finish, called coating, to white for optimum protection on all colors.
Behavior in the sun
Although this shelter provides protection from the sun, phenomena such as reverberation (on water, sand, etc.), heat, time of day, etc. must be taken into account. The use of this shelter does not exempt you from the need to follow the appropriate precautions: wear sunglasses, a hat or cap, a UV top (refer to the OLAIAN range of anti-UV clothing products), apply a suitable sun cream regularly, drink regularly, etc.
Wind resistance
The Paruv 160 parasol withstands winds of up to 20km/h with the foot 25cm deep in the sand
Purchasing the orange screw foot separately increases wind resistance by 10km/h.
Tilting parasol with Tilt accessory sold separately.
All PARUV parasols can be tilted to 35° and 50° using the "Tilt incline paruv" accessory. This accessory is sold separately and exclusively in the Decathlon network.
