This quad 100, a fitness quad, is a versatile skate for discovering or rediscovering roller skating, or for occasional use. When designing it, we focused above all on comfort. The vintage touch on this roller sneaker is a nod to the roller skates of the '80s. It's sure to reconcile you with your braces and your look teenage years. It's a gift.

What's the difference between a fitness quad and an artistic roller skate?

Are you hesitating between this model and the artistic one with the heel? Let us guide you: The artistic or dancing quad is designed differently. It sits higher on the ankle, has a small heel and its brake is closer to the ground. This design is primarily regulated by the practice of artistic roller skating. The quad fitness, on the other hand, is a versatile skate for urban strolling, roller disco and a few steps of roller dancing. Comfortable as a sneaker on wheels.

What protection should you wear to start cruising on roller skates?

As with all snow sports, falling can be part of the learning process (and even at an advanced level). To protect yourself as much as possible, we recommend wearing at least: knee protectors, wrist protectors and a helmet. Elbow protectors and protective shorts can also be valuable allies when balance is still a problem. And even if you're not at the top of your game, your joints will thank you.

Maintenance and repair

Change parts or repair your skates using the after-sales components available on the shelves, on the Internet or in the workshop of your Decathlon store. After riding in water, dust or sand, disassemble the wheels, dry and degrease the bearings with a dry cloth. We recommend that you regularly change the position of the wheels to ensure even wear.
