Product improvement: skin netting
From September 2020, and in response to the reviews you have posted on our website, we have decided to add a skin net. To maintain good glue adhesion, we recommend storing the skins on the net.
Cutting hides
The skin is 130 mm wide and 185 cm long, so it can fit skis up to 115 mm underfoot for an ideal cut.
kit includes a cutter for cutting and adjusting skins to ski width and length.
Fastening system
Front system with stirrup can be used on all ski tips.
Rear cam lock system for fine adjustment and excellent skin hold on the ski.
Repair
Ski touring skins from Wedze have been designed so that they can be repaired if necessary. It is possible to replace the front and rear parts of our skins. All you need to do is contact a Decathlon sales representative, who will explain the procedure to you.
Maintenance
It is also possible that, after several seasons of use, the glue under the skin degrades (forming small clumps of glue). We offer glueing kits in store (or on the internet) to do yourself, and if you're not comfortable, the service is available in our Decathlon workshops.
