TECHNICAL INFORMATION

Wood and pop quality

This board is made from 7-ply Canadian Hard Rock Maple, the best wood species for technical skateboards.
The wood used for this board is FSC-certified (from sustainably managed forests).

The board is cold-pressed to guarantee better resistance to stress.
We use a high-performance water-based glue that is much less polluting than Epoxy resins.

One board per mold

Our maple planks are cold-pressed, one at a time. This means that each mold contains only one board per pressing pass. This ensures optimum pressure distribution and that each board of the same model has exactly the same shape, the same concave. An advantage for those who always want to ski the same shape.

How much does the DK100 8.25" skateboard weigh?

Approx. 1.2 kg. Since the boards are sanded by hand and each ply of wood is not exactly the same density, the weight may differ slightly from one board to another. Of course, the board is only one component that will determine the weight of your skateboard. The size of the wheels and trucks will also have a major impact.

Design story: DK100 - how to make the best value board on the market?

With the DK100 models, we imagined the most streamlined board possible, to make it ultra-accessible to those on a budget or who break a lot of boards.
We therefore removed everything that could be removed without altering the board's qualities of use. No more graphics, no colored folds among the 7 maple folds on the board, technical information is concentrated on a simple sticker. The board is seized to keep costs down.

Which board size to choose?

The main criterion for choosing a skateboard is its width. The narrower the board, the more maneuverable it will be (ideal for beginners and smaller riders). The wider the board, the more stable and secure it will be when landing tricks, making it ideal for ramp skaters and taller skaters. Dimensions are measured in inches. 1 inch = 2.54 cm. Length and wheelbase also have a strong impact on the board's maneuverability and stability.

TESTS

Our boards are laboratory-tested. These tests are used to validate standards for skateboard use, as well as wear tests. These lab tests are complemented by field tests, some measured, others based on the perception of testers, who then put the product through its paces.
