Glide quality
We have designed an exclusive shape, in collaboration with shaper Erwan Le Gallic, with the aim of favouring glide and quick take-off while ensuring excellent stability when not flying.
- The flat hull on the tail and the double concave on the front of the hull reduce friction for effortless take-off.
- Maximum width advanced on the front of the board to favour glide.
- Nose slightly refined so as to limit dunnage.
How to choose your board? For which level?
- La 85 liters: a more compact version for smoother manoeuvring.
- La 100 liters: the best compromise between glide, stability and manoeuvrability.
- La 120 liters: greater lateral stability thanks to wider tail.
Independent riders:
La 85 liters, OK if - 75 kilos
La 100 liters, OK if - 90 kilos
La 120 liters, OK if + 90 kilos
Beginner riders:
La 100 liters, OK if - 70 kilos
La 120 liters, OK if + 70 kilos
Tolerance
- We've worked on lines that soften touchdowns, ensuring good forgiveness. The board is very forgiving of mistakes when navigating or jumping: it starts up again easily and doesn't stop when it hits the water.
- The distribution of volumes has been optimized to enable the rider to have a center of gravity (foot position) positioned in the same place at standstill, during the take-off phase and in flight.
Construction and sturdiness
- Board built with a 2 mm PVC sandwich (100 kg / m3) on deck and hull - for maximum strength.
- 200 g / m² carbon fiber reinforcements on the case.
- PVC case reinforcement running through the entire board.
Comfort 1/2
- Slight concave on the deck (top of the board) for comfort and confidence when leaning. This ensures good responsiveness and less effort when pushing on the heels
- 3 points of contact with the ground make the board very stable when assembling the foil
- TPU patch on the nose to prevent damage to the board when assembling the foil
- Rounded deck angles mean no discomfort when climbing back on the board.
Comfort 2/2
- Pad with double groove thicknesses to guarantee good grip (necessary for strapless riding and changes of footing) without compromising comfort.
- Smooth part integrated into the center of the rear pad: you won't need to look at your feet when maneuvering, and you'll be able to find your way around thanks to this change in texture.
- Handles under the board for easy transport on the spot (the board is horizontally balanced when the foil is mounted).
Resistance
- The angle of the tail is curved to avoid damaging the board with the leash.
- Diaphragm decompression valve on the back of the board: prevents heat and pressure from damaging the board (e.g. air travel, heat, storage in a car).
- Do not unscrew the valve, as this could compromise the watertightness of your board.
Compatibility
- 5 x 3 inserts at the front (double strap / V-straps / diagonal strap) and 5 straight strap settings at the rear make it compatible with a variety of straps.
- 27 cm double US box mounting system.
The board is sold with
- The board is sold bare: the leash and straps are not supplied.
- For straps, use screws with a diameter of 6 mm. The length of the screw must not exceed 20 mm when passed through the strap, as this could damage your board.
