WHAT'S IT FOR?
Plates are swimming equipment for working the upper body (arms, shoulders, pectorals, back). They are positioned on the hands to increase traction and speed in the water.
Four sizes of pads are available:
- S : power + / frequency ++
- M : power ++ / frequency +
- L : power +++ / frequency -
-XL: power ++++ : frequency - -
PLATELET USE
There are two ways to use the pads:
1 - Tighten the wrist straps on your pads to give them more stability. This is best for beginners.
2- Use without the wrist strap when you become more experienced, as this will help you to feel the support and the correct movement better (the pad will move more easily if you make a wrong move).
ATTENTION TO USE
Like all large pads, L swim pads are very physically demanding and could lead to tendon injuries if used by too young, uninformed swimmers or too intensively.
