What puncture protection does this tire offer?

The ROADPROTECT+ mountain bike tire features 2 successive protections:
1. The first protection is a 3mm high-density rubber band located under the tread.
2. The second protection is a polyamide strip located under the first protection.

This combination of rubber and polyamide protection offers an excellent level of resistance.
We tested it in the laboratory. It scores 5/5.

How do you measure a tire's resistance to punctures?

We measure the tire's puncture resistance in the laboratory. The perforating elements are calibrated to represent the thorns, broken glass, etc. that you are likely to encounter on the road. Depending on its resistance, each tire obtains a score from 1 to 5/5.
The most reinforced tires on the market obtain a score of 5/5.
